Roopal K. Named USAGSO Young Woman of Distinction

For 2017 Singapore's very own Roopal K. has been named one of the first recipients of the USAGSO Young Woman of Distinction award! Her Gold Award project, Closing the Digital Divide, has been chosen as one of the top 5 projects in all of USA Girl Scouts Overseas this year. In response to the growing number of Girl Scouts Overseas doing amazing, impactful projects, this year the USAGSO organization created a new international award to recognize them. This is similar to the USAGS National Young Women of Distinction Award (which is only awarded to 10 girls per year globally).
