Are you thinking about joining USA Girls Scouts but you have some questions? Do you need help signing up? No problem! We will be available at several locations around Singapore as school gets started to help you out. So feel free to stop by at one of several school open houses and other events in August 2020 to chat with us about Girl Scouts in Singapore.

Girl Scouts in Singapore would simply not function without the many tireless hours spent by parent volunteers. And every year we take the opportunity to thank our amazing leaders and volunteers at the Closing Ceremony, so we need YOUR nominations before 11-May-2020!

This is an opportunity for all parents (and Girl Scouts) to give thanks for the hard work and dedication of our leaders and adult volunteers. There are three recognition categories and you may nominate as many people as you like in any category:

• Outstanding Leader (for Troop Leaders)

• Great Adult Volunteer (for Non-leaders)

• Green Knight (for Fantastic Male Volunteers)

The contest is a great way for USAGSO Girl Scouts to share their artistic talents with us and help design the Early Bird Patch we will use for the upcoming 2020-2021 Early Bird registration period (just like the one above designed for last year!).

Contest Details:

The contest will take place from March 1 to April 1, no late submissions will be accepted.

• Designs must be original work of the girl.

• Girls can submit more than one design.

• The design must include "Early Bird", "USAGSO" or "USA Girl Scouts Overseas", and 2020-2021.

• The winning design will be announced on April 15, 2020.

How to Submit:

Draw your design within a circle, making sure to include the words listed above.  Be sure to include your name, Girl Scout level and troop number, and Overseas Committee name.  (We’ve created this form to make this easier, so you can just print and design away!)

Scan/Upload photo(s) of the designs through this link.  

Note: We recommend completing this as a troop activity.  Troop Leaders may submit all girls’ designs in one submission form.

It's that time of year again where, unfortunately, many of our families will be thinking of the next chapter in their Great Worldwide Adventure. If your family is moving away from Singapore and would like to continue in Girl Scouts, please visit the USAGSO Membership Moves or Transfers page and follow the instructions for your specific situation. The appropriate USA Girl Scouts Service Team will work with you and your new council to ensure your MyGS account and Girl Scout records are transferred to your new council.

Although we will be sad to see her leave, we're glad she wants to continue being a Girl Scout wherever she goes!
